On a recent episode of Happily Ever After?, Jovi left for work, and had to say goodbye to Yara and baby Mylah. How did fans respond to touching scene?

Although Yara Zaya knows her husband Jovi Dufren must travel for his job, that made it no less difficult when it came time for the couple to say goodbye to each other on a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Despite the criticism they’ve received in the past, many fans empathized with the couple having to part not long after the birth of their daughter Mylah. It was a tear-jerking scene that helped many viewers see Yara and Jovi in a new light.

On this season of Happily Ever After?, Yara has been mentally preparing for her husband to leave for work for several weeks. Yara will be staying with Gwen, her mother-in-law, but she is still worried about caring for Mylah without Jovi. In a recent episode, Gwen and Yara drop Jovi off at the airport and it’s a tearful and touching scene. Jovi comments that “it’s really sad for me to tell my baby goodbye for the first time,” as he kissed his “princess” goodbye.

Saying goodbye to his adorable daughter Mylah was hard, but parting with Yara was just as difficult. The couple embraced as Yara teared up and told Jovi not to stay away too long this time, joking “I will go to your boss’ house, I know where he live.” Fans responded positively to the surprisingly heartfelt moment. “It was refreshing to see a rare moment of Jovi being so vulnerable with Yara,” one commented, adding that they could “feel [Yara’s] pain through the screen.”

There were some fans who were still cynical, arguing that Yara complains about Jovi having to leave, but likes him making as much money as he does. Other fans countered that just because she understands and respects his need to travel for work, it doesn’t mean it’s not still hard on her emotionally when he leaves. Unfortunately for Yara, Jovi isn’t sure how long he has to be gone for this work trip, and the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star said he could be gone as long as four months. Though fans have been hard on the couple in the past, their tearful goodbye touched many viewers’ hearts. Jovi and Yara have their issues, but there’s no denying that parting this time was harder for the couple than ever before.
